Man arrested in Puebla after livestream shooting of TikTok influencer in Culiacan

Mexican authorities detained a suspect in Puebla for allegedly shooting a TikTok influencer during a live broadcast in Culiacan.

A man believed to have fired at a popular TikTok creator during a live stream in Culiacan was arrested in the state of Puebla. The livestream captured a motorcycle pulling up beside the influencer, who was participating in a challenge with two friends, and the rider opening fire. Security officials reported that police encountered three armed assailants during the raid, killing one before securing the suspect and an additional detainee.

Seized items included three firearms, ammunition and several vehicles. Preliminary findings suggest the murder was connected to the influencer's social media content that alluded to a criminal group. The incident occurs amid ongoing violence between rival factions of the Sinaloa Cartel, which has claimed numerous lives in the region.
