Man arrested in Ullensaker after police find loaded firearms in his car
Police responded to a tip about a vehicle in Rambydalen, Ullensaker, where a sleeping driver was found with a rifle, shotgun and two pistols, several of them loaded.
Officers were alerted by a passerby to a car parked in Rambydalen, Ullensaker. After several attempts they woke the driver, who was heavily asleep. Inside the vehicle investigators discovered a rifle, a shotgun and two pistols, with multiple weapons loaded. The driver, a resident of Eidsvoll, claimed he hunts foxes and is also suspected of driving under the influence of amphetamine. He was taken for a blood test, arrested and the weapons were seized.
