Man arrested on London Underground after alleged attempted rape on train

Police detained a man with no fixed address after he allegedly tried to rape a woman on a late-night London Underground carriage.

Officers responded to a report of a sexual assault on a night train in London and arrested the suspect, identified as Saxon. He was taken into custody and later charged with attempted rape. Judge Vanessa Baraitser ordered that he remain in custody pending a sentencing hearing scheduled for October 30. Additional psychiatric and probation assessments were also requested.
