Man convicted of abducting and raping teenage girl in Boston, Lincolnshire

During a six-day hearing at Lincoln Crown Court, 33-year-old Jay Savage was convicted of abducting a teenage girl from Boston, Lincolnshire, and raping her after threatening her with a knife. The victim said Savage forced her to use a charger at his residence, handed her a beer and compelled her to walk across town against her will. Inside his property, he forced oral sex and recorded the assault on his phone.

The girl reported the incident just after midnight, and police arrested Savage at 1:45 am the same night. The jury found him guilty of abduction, oral rape and taking an indecent photograph of a child. He remains in custody pending sentencing on November 27. Detectives praised the victim’s bravery throughout the investigation and trial.
