Man dragged 50 metres by an aggressive stag in Romania's Luncșoara

A resident of Luncșoara was pulled along roughly 50 metres after a stag attacked him, sustaining multiple injuries before being taken to hospital.

In the village of Luncșoara, a man was attacked by a stag that became aggressive and seized him from behind. The animal dragged the victim for roughly 50 metres before fleeing, while a nearby resident shouted at the deer. The injured man took cover in a rain-water drainage pipe and was later discovered with numerous cuts covering most of his body, including injuries to his chest, stomach, limbs and a head wound.

Emergency responders took him to a hospital for care. The incident has raised local concerns about the presence of the animal, with residents fearing a repeat and awaiting action from authorities. A video of the event was recorded by the ambulance driver who transported the patient.
