Man in his 30s killed after bus collision on Cork's Lower Glanmire Road
A pedestrian in his 30s died after being hit by a bus on Lower Glanmire Road in Cork early this morning.
Around 6.30 am on Lower Glanmire Road in Cork city, a bus struck a male pedestrian in his 30s, causing fatal injuries. He was taken to hospital but was later declared dead. The incident prompted a technical investigation by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators, and the coroner has been informed. Gardaí are seeking witnesses who were on or near the road between 6.20 am and 6.35 am, as well as anyone with mobile phone or dash-cam recordings of the event.
