Man killed and friend critically injured in stabbing attack in Parla, Spain
A 24-year-old man died from a neck slash in Parla while his 24-year-old friend was seriously wounded in the chest.
In the early hours of Saturday-to-Sunday, a 24-year-old man was found with a deep neck wound at the intersection of Santo Tomás de Aquino and Macarena in Parla. Paramedics from Summa 112 arrived at 6:35 a.m., performed advanced resuscitation for about 40 minutes, but could not revive him, confirming his death. His 24-year-old companion suffered a stab to the lower left lung and was transported to Hospital Puerta de Hierro in Majadahonda, where he remains in serious condition.
Police investigators secured the scene, provided psychological support to relatives, and arrested two men: a 25-year-old accused of the killing and a 40-year-old charged with serious injuries. All three suspects and the victims share Spanish nationality with Dominican roots, while the second arrestee is of Peruvian descent. The investigation continues to determine the motive.
