Man pleads guilty to exploiting 14-year-old in multiple threesomes and trafficking

In Singapore, a 39-year-old man admitted guilt to four charges of sexual penetration of a minor, two offences under the Prevention of Human Trafficking Act for recruiting a child for sexual exploitation, and one count of causing hurt. He first contacted the victim via the Heymandi mobile application in January 2022, claiming to be divorced and presenting himself as her boyfriend. Over the next two years he coerced her into a series of threesomes with himself, a married friend, a former co-worker and later strangers, sometimes receiving payment of S$100 to S$150 per encounter.

The victim eventually ended the relationship and reported an assault by the man in July 2025, leading to his arrest. The prosecution highlighted his earlier convictions for raping his sister and molesting another 14-year-old, labeling him a sexual predator. The court ordered assessments to determine whether corrective training or preventive detention is appropriate, and sentencing has been postponed to 18 November.
