Man threatens judges, police launch South Bohemian raid and arrest him
A man in Strakonice threatened to acquire a weapon abroad and kill judges, leading police to locate and detain him in a South Bohemian operation.
The suspect told witnesses he would obtain a gun overseas and take revenge on the judge handling his criminal case, also targeting officials in Českých Budějovicích. Police deemed the threats credible, tracked his movements and, with a tactical unit, arrested him in a property on Wednesday. Investigators then charged him and asked a court to keep him in custody, noting this was not his first serious offence.
