Man wounded in shoulder after gunmen open fire at Bidan petrol station
A 41-year-old man was shot in the left shoulder when two armed men fired at his vehicle at a Bidor petrol station.
Police say a 41-year-old driver was attacked at a Bidor Sentral petrol station shortly after 6 p.m. Two men, believed to be armed, stepped out of a black Honda City and discharged multiple shots at his Toyota Land Cruiser, striking him in the left shoulder. The vehicle carried five additional passengers, all of whom got away without injury. The victim was transported to Raja Permaisuri Bainun Hospital where he remains in stable condition.
Investigators recovered a 9 mm Luger bullet, four casings and fragments at the scene, and are reviewing CCTV footage from nearby routes and toll plazas. The case is being pursued under attempted-murder and firearms statutes that carry severe penalties.
