Manhunt launched for hit-and-run driver who left 11-year-old son in burning car
Police have issued a $1 million warrant for Terry Lamar Easter, accused of fleeing a crash in Victorville that killed two teenage girls and abandoned his son in the wreck.
A $1 million arrest warrant has been filed for Terry Lamar Easter, 50, in connection with a fatal Victorville crash on August 14 that claimed the lives of high-school friends Isabell DeLand, 16, and Maddalyn Dailey, 17. Investigators allege Easter drove a Chevrolet Camaro that struck the girls’ car, splitting it in half and causing immediate death. Following the collision, Easter reportedly fled on foot, abandoning his 11-year-old son in the passenger seat of the burning vehicle, while another driver in a Dodge Charger remained and was later charged with vehicular manslaughter with gross negligence.
The California Highway Patrol described Easter as armed and dangerous, providing a physical description. An associate, Ryan Lewis, and his mother, Madge Wells, were also named in the warrant but have since been taken into custody. The victims were close friends who lived only a few houses apart and attended the same high school.
