Manu Bhaker and Tajinderpal Singh Toor named India's flag bearers for Asian Games

India's chef-de-mission Sahdev Yadav announced that shooter Manu Bhaker and javelin thrower Tajinderpal Singh Toor will carry the flag at the Asian Games opening ceremony.

The Indian contingent will be led by Manu Bhaker and Tajinderpal Singh Toor during the opening ceremony of the Asian Games, scheduled for Saturday. Sahdev Yadav, serving as chef-de-mission, confirmed Bhaker's role, and the Athletics Federation of India later added Toor as the second flag-bearer. Toor recently made history at the 2024 Paris Olympics by becoming the first athlete from independent India to win two medals in a single edition.
