Marine Le Pen leans on longtime RN allies for upcoming presidential race

Marine Le Pen, the RN presidential candidate, is rallying veteran party members such as Bruno Bilde and Steeve Briois after parting ways with adviser François Durvye.

Marine Le Pen, running for president under the Rassemblement national banner, is counting on a close circle of loyal party operatives for her campaign. Her recent separation from special adviser François Durvye was explained as a loss of confidence and divergent views on strategy. The candidate continues to rely on seasoned RN members, including Pas-de-Calais deputy Bruno Bilde, who has been with the Front national since the early 1990s and has supported Le Pen since the start of her political career.

Another key figure is Steeve Briois, one outlet mayor of Hénin-Beaumont, whose partnership with Bilde is credited with establishing the party’s foothold in that working-class city. These figures form part of the inner circle that Le Pen trusts to steer her bid.
