Marine Le Pen vows to freeze tobacco taxes and delink prices from inflation

The proposal comes as the Confédération des buralistes has urged a national mobilisation to defend local shops against rising cigarette prices and a growing illicit market. Le Pen described the sector as crucial for both social interaction and the local economy.
