Mark Cuban-Backed Documentary Series Showcases Social Entrepreneurs Tackling Global Issues

A new ten-episode documentary called “How to Change the World,” executive-produced by Mark Cuban and others, will premiere on YouTube on Sept. 10, highlighting social entrepreneurs addressing major challenges.

“How to Change the World,” a ten-part documentary produced by World Within Studios together with Religion of Sports, is slated for a YouTube debut on Sept. 10. Executive producers Mark Cuban, Geralyn Dreyfous and Gotham Chopra assembled a diverse advisory panel that includes former Starbucks CEO Howard Schultz, NYU Stern professor Scott Galloway, Acumen founder Jacqueline Novogratz, climber Alex Honnold and others. Each episode chronicles a different social entrepreneur—from a modest brick-and-mortar beverage startup to a Lakota-founded renewable-energy company—highlighting success measured by community benefit rather than financial exit.

Directors Dylan Mulick, Oliver Riley-Smith and Nicholas Mihm employ a cinematic, investigative approach, while producers Jason Bowers, Jacob Mosler and Radhika Womack oversee production. World Within, a nonprofit operating at the intersection of impact investing and storytelling, hopes the series will act as a blueprint for systemic change. Mark Cuban emphasized the project supports entrepreneurs who are actively solving problems, not merely discussing them.
