Marseille crushed 4-1 by Besiktas as PSG showdown looms

Olympique de Marseille entered the Europa League tie against Besiktas already rattled by defeats to Monaco, Paris FC and Rennes, and the 4-1 loss deepened the crisis. After an early goal by Ilhan Fakili following an Angel Gomes error, Marseille briefly dominated the final minutes of the first half, with Keyliane Abdallah scoring the only goal of that period.
