Marvanová to testify in Dozimetr probe, cites lack of support and ignored warnings
Former transport official Marvanová will appear before investigators in the Dozimetr scandal, saying she received no backing while flagging dubious contracts.
In a 2022 interview, Marvanová said she was powerless and unsupported when she highlighted numerous suspicious transactions and asset transfers within the city transport company. She specifically mentioned the absence of assistance from Petr Hlubuček, then a supervisory board member. Hlubuček, formerly of STAN, is now a principal defendant in the case. Prosecutors allege he placed loyalists linked to lobbyist Michal Redla into senior roles at the Prague Transport Company to steer public procurement.
Why it matters
The testimony may reveal how political influence was used to steer public contracts in Prague's transport sector.
