Mattel Announces September Release of KPop Demon Hunters 6-Inch Action Figures
Mattel will launch a line of 6-inch KPop Demon Hunters action figures on Sept. 1, featuring characters from the Netflix film.
Netflix’s blockbuster animated feature KPop Demon Hunters, which amassed 325.1 million views within three months, has spawned a new line of collectibles from Mattel. After securing the master licensing agreement in October, Mattel prepared a range of 6-inch action figures that will become available on Sept. 1. The first release comprises individually boxed figures of the HUNTR/X members Rumi, Mira and Zoey, as well as Saja Boys characters Juni and Abby, plus a Rumi & Demon Juni two-pack.
Each figure includes multiple articulation points, interchangeable face plates, extra hands and character-specific accessories. The toys will be sold through major outlets including Amazon, Walmart, Target and GameStop, with a retail price of $21.99 per figure and $44.99 for the two-pack. Mattel also indicated that additional Saja Boys characters—Baby, Romance and Mystery—will arrive later in the season.
