McDonald’s Introduces Caramel Apple Pie Coffee Drinks for Limited Time
McDonald’s is adding a seasonal Caramel Apple Pie coffee line, featuring frappes, lattes and iced coffee, to its menu nationwide.
McDonald’s revealed a new seasonal coffee range centered on caramel apple flavors, available for a limited period at participating locations across the United States. The lineup comprises a Caramel Apple Pie Frappe, hot and iced lattes, and iced coffee, all topped with salted caramel-flavored whipped cream and bits of apple pie. The company highlighted the drinks as a cozy alternative to typical summer beverages.
Earlier this year, McDonald’s also brought back its fried apple pie to mark America’s 250th anniversary. While McDonald’s shifts focus to caramel apple, rivals Dunkin’ and Starbucks have reintroduced pumpkin-spice beverages. The chain could not be reached for comment at the time of reporting.
Why it matters
The launch shows how major chains refresh menus to attract seasonal customers and compete with rivals.
