MedLife launches iMed, a free AI-driven health profile app for Romanian users
MedLife introduced iMed, a new free interface in its app that combines genetic, lab, biometric and lifestyle data to give users a dynamic health profile and personalized prevention tips.
On October 1, 2026, MedLife announced the launch of iMed, an advanced interface integrated into its MedLife application. iMed unifies genetic predisposition data for more than 70 conditions, lab analyses, biometric streams from wearables and lifestyle information into a single, continuously updated health profile. Developed by MedLife’s own AI and bioinformatics team, the platform provides visual risk bars, percentile comparisons and tailored preventive recommendations.
Users can enable or disable iMed from the main screen, and the tool is free for anyone in Romania. MedLife’s CEO Mihai Marcu said the initiative moves the company from reactive disease management toward proactive, data-driven health monitoring. Future updates will add microbiome, nutrition and imaging data to further enrich the dynamic profile.
Why it matters
It brings comprehensive, AI-powered preventive health monitoring to the Romanian public at no cost.
