Meghan Trainor has secured global representation with United Talent Agency, and the Guitar Center Music Foundation announced Valeisha Butterfield as its new CEO and executive director.
Meghan Trainor, known for her Grammy wins, entered into a worldwide representation agreement with United Talent Agency covering live shows, screen projects, digital platforms, theatre, and brand collaborations, following her acting role on Ryan Murphy’s FX series and the April launch of her seventh album. She previously cancelled a North American arena tour due to low ticket sales and family considerations. In a separate development, the Guitar Center Music Foundation appointed Valeisha Butterfield as its chief executive officer and executive director, effective immediately, to drive its strategic plan, boost donor engagement and forge partnerships with schools and community groups.
Butterfield brings experience as former co-president of the Recording Academy and a former Google global partnerships vice president, and she also serves on the Grammys’ Television Committee and founded Seed Media.
