Mercedes-Benz Malaysia opens Southeast Asia's sole AMG One service centre
Mercedes-Benz Malaysia has set up a specialised hub in Bukit Tinggi to service the limited-run AMG One hypercar, the only facility of its kind in Southeast Asia.
Mercedes-Benz Malaysia invested in a dedicated service hub at Hap Seng Star's Bukit Tinggi facility, creating the only Southeast Asian location capable of maintaining the Formula 1-derived AMG One hypercar. The centre complements an existing hub in Japan and is equipped with specialised high-voltage equipment, diagnostic systems and climate-controlled workspaces required for the car's complex hybrid powertrain. Local technicians have completed AMG certification and will work directly with engineers in Affalterbach, Germany, for technical support.
The hub also leverages Malaysia's Mercedes-Benz Parts Logistics Asia Pacific operations to speed parts delivery and reduce service delays. Additional offerings include regional technical assistance, dedicated liaison officers for international clients, and digital reporting tools. The initiative aligns with Malaysia's broader plan to grow high-value services under the 13th Malaysia Plan.
Why it matters
It gives regional AMG One owners local access to specialised maintenance, reducing downtime and supporting Malaysia's high-value service sector.
