Messi nets four times as Inter Miami demolishes Montreal 7-1

Lionel Messi scored four goals and added an assist, leading Inter Miami to a 7-1 victory over CF Montreal and ending a five-game winless streak.

In Saturday's MLS clash, Lionel Messi recorded his first ever four-goal game, also supplying an assist as Inter Miami overwhelmed CF Montreal 7-1. Interim manager Guillermo Hoyos said no words could capture Messi's brilliance, noting the performance ended Miami's five-game winless run in all competitions. The Argentine struck before the break, added a second goal in the 52nd minute, completed his hat-trick in the 83rd, and finished with a stoppage-time free-kick.

His tally now tops the league with 18 goals this season. New signing Casemiro, speaking to Apple TV, called the display historic and emphasized how Messi strengthens the squad. The result marks a dramatic turnaround for the club after a recent slump.
