His opening strike came in the 11th minute after a pass from Noah Allen, and he added a second in the 44th minute following a similar left-flank delivery. Telasco Segovia gave Miami a 2-1 lead, and Messi later supplied a corner that Micael dos Santos Silva headed in to make it 4-1 at halftime.
