Messianic author describes how a religious debate sparked a mid-air assault

In a YouTube interview, Jonathan Cahn explained that a friendly exchange about his new book, "The Altar of Pergamon," turned hostile when former Arizona realtor Arthur Layne Lundeen began shouting that "Jesus is bulls-t" and hurled racist and homophobic slurs. Lundeen’s aggression grew as he tried to take Cahn’s laptop, prompting a physical struggle while the aircraft was descending for an emergency landing. Passengers intervened, securing Lundeen with duct tape and zip ties.
The flight, bound for Newark, landed in Baltimore after the incident. Lundeen is now charged in Maryland with second-degree assault and disorderly conduct, and the FBI is interviewing witnesses to determine whether federal charges are warranted. Cahn’s earlier works have drawn controversy, with one outlet once labeling him a "Doomsday prophet."
