Metal contamination triggers recall of Vom Easy Pack dog food products

Metal fragments were found in certain Vom Easy Pack dog foods, prompting a recall of items produced on 09.09.2026.

The Norwegian Food Safety Authority announced that dog food sold under the Easy Pack line from Vom and Hundemat AS contains metal particles. The recall covers four specific products with a production date of 09.09.2026, distributed across Norway and Europe. Consumers are advised to photograph the product, register it on Vom's website, and either receive a replacement, a refund, or discard the item. The products remain safe to use until their best-before date of 09.05.2027, and other batches are unaffected.
