Mi Hazánk Movement convenes fifth congress to choose new leadership

The Mi Hazánk Movement is scheduled to hold its fifth congress on Saturday, during which a large delegation will elect the party's president and multiple vice-presidents. Toroczkai László, who has led the movement since its founding in 2018, is the sole candidate for the presidency. The vice-presidential contest features Dúró Dóra and four other candidates—Apáti István, Dócs Dávid, Novák Előd and Pakusza Zoltán—plus roughly a dozen additional aspirants, among them several cabinet leaders and former presidential nominee Tóth Máté, recently appointed to the NMHH Media Council.

Party officials have raised the possibility of expanding the number of vice-presidential seats to handle the growing workload. The congress will determine the leadership lineup, with the outcomes slated for release in the afternoon.
