Miami waitress arrested for extorting businessman lover over $20,000

Nathalie Rodriguez Gonzalez, a 19-year-old Miami waitress, was taken into custody on charges of threats and extortion after demanding $20,000 from her businessman lover.

Authorities allege that 19-year-old waitress Nathalie Rodriguez Gonzalez, who works in Miami, began a relationship with a wealthy businessman client and later learned she was only a side-piece. She is accused of sending a series of threatening messages demanding $20,000, warning she would forward intimate photos to his girlfriend and business partner if she did not receive the money. After the man declined, she allegedly sent one of the pictures to his business partner and posted a blurred version on TikTok.

The victim reported the matter to the Kendall District station of the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office on Aug. 24, identified Rodriguez Gonzalez, and she was arrested at her home the following Friday. She was held at Turner Guilford Correctional Center on a $7,500 bond and reportedly gave a full confession.
