Michael Dell's $875 Million Boca Raton Deal Spurs Rapid Luxury Condo Sales
Michael Dell’s $875 million purchase of The Boca Raton resort is yielding strong condo sales, with about 40 % of the 75 units already sold at prices up to $20 million.
In 2019, Michael Dell’s MSD Partners acquired the century-old Boca Raton resort for $875 million and has since invested about $375 million in upgrades and a $1 billion refinancing. The developer is adding a new eight-story condo building with 75 high-end residences priced between $8.95 million and more than $20 million, and roughly 40 % have been sold in just a few months. Amenities include a rooftop pool, spa, gym, golf simulator, and a Residential Club Membership that covers owners’ parents and children.
The project, designed by Hart Howerton with interiors by Pembrooke & Ives, will break ground late this year and complete by 2029. Nearby luxury neighbors such as Travis Kelce and Kevin James underscore the area’s affluent market. The development marks the first time the historic resort is selling homes on its grounds.
Why it matters
The sale shows high demand for ultra-luxury real estate and highlights a major billionaire’s impact on a historic Florida resort.
