Middle East oil shipments rise in September as Hormuz traffic rebounds
Oil exports from the Middle East increased in September, reaching the highest level since the start of the Iran conflict, according to Kpler data.
Preliminary figures from ship-tracking firm Kpler show a rebound in crude oil shipments out of the Middle East during September, the strongest output since the Iran war began. The rise follows a partial restoration of vessel movements through the Hormuz Strait. While exports have grown, they remain well below the volumes recorded before the United States and Israel launched their campaign against Iran in February.
