Minnesota woman’s mugshot goes viral for striking Jennifer Lopez resemblance

Cyrena Anne Quast, a 35-year-old resident of Saint Cloud, Minnesota, was detained on August 30 after a store employee identified her as the suspect who stole two double packs of power-tool batteries in Monticello. The Wright County Sheriff’s Office photographed her during booking, and the image quickly spread online because of her uncanny resemblance to 57-year-old entertainer Jennifer Lopez. Social media users flooded the picture with jokes referencing Lopez’s hit “Jenny From The Block,” dubbing Quast “Jenny from D-Block.”

Quast allegedly confessed to the theft and was charged with a gross misdemeanor, yet she was released the next day. Her criminal history includes prior arrests for drug possession, driving while intoxicated, fleeing police, false identification, and various traffic violations.
