Missing Cork man found dead abroad after 34 years

Patrick “Patsy” O'Sullivan, who vanished in April 1992, has been confirmed dead overseas, according to Gardaí.

Patrick “Patsy” O'Sullivan vanished in April 1992 while traveling from a job in County Kerry back to his home in Lombardstown, County Cork. He was expected to attend a family christening but never arrived, prompting a decades-long search. His siblings, including brothers Jerry and Eugene, repeatedly voiced their anguish and maintained public appeals for information, most recently via social media in July.

The case appeared on Crimecall several times, including last year when O'Sullivan would have turned 68. A Gardaí spokesperson announced that the missing person has now been located dead overseas and that the family has been informed.
