Model Josie Canseco mourns sudden death of Presley Gerber at 27

Josie Canseco, a Victoria’s Secret model and daughter of former baseball player Jose Canseco, posted an emotional Instagram tribute to Presley Gerber, the 27-year-old son of supermodel Cindy Crawford and entrepreneur Rande Gerber. In her message she lamented the loss and said Gerber deserved a better fate. The Los Angeles County Medical one outlet reported that Gerber died at a rehabilitation facility, but did not release a cause of death, while the Santa Monica Police Department is handling the case.

Unconfirmed reports suggest an overdose may have been involved. Canseco and Gerber were acquainted through their modeling careers and grew closer after Canseco’s friend Charlotte D’Alessio dated Gerber in the late 2010s. The Gerber-Crawford family has asked for privacy as they cope with the tragedy.
