Model Shraddha Dubey claims restaurant owner’s death was suicide, denies murder charges

Wanted model Shraddha Dubey released a video asserting that restaurant owner Shiva Sharma killed himself and that she is innocent, while police have raised the reward for information on her whereabouts.

Shraddha Dubey, a model and socialite who is currently wanted, issued her first public video denying any involvement in the death of restaurant owner Shiva Sharma. She maintains that Sharma died by suicide after falling from the fourth floor of her Lucknow apartment building and urges investigators to review the building’s CCTV footage, which she says would exonerate her. Dubey explained that she had known Sharma for about four months, that he faced a financial burden of roughly Rs 16-17 lakh, and that he had temporarily taken jewelry worth Rs 5-6 lakh from her home, acknowledging the loan in a separate video.

She also claimed that Sharma’s mother disapproved of their relationship due to an age gap, suggesting that hostility fueled the accusations. Police have doubled the reward for information leading to the arrest of Dubey, her sister Rashmi Dubey, and their driver to Rs 50,000 each, as the investigation into the October 9 fall in the Hazratganj area continues. The allegations and Dubey’s statements have not been independently verified.
