Modi and Shah Lead NDA’s Weekly ‘Mangal Milan’ Gathering, Flag-Waving Ceremony

Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah attended the NDA’s weekly “Mangal Milan” meeting at the Parliament complex, where members greeted them with the national flag and patriotic chants.

On Tuesday, the National Democratic Alliance held its customary “Mangal Milan” meeting inside the Parliament House precinct, featuring Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah as chief guests. NDA legislators welcomed the duo by unfurling the Indian flag and chanting “Vande Mataram” and “Bharat Mata Ki Jai.” In his address, Shah defended recent police measures taken against student protesters at the Jantar Mantar site.

Opposition figure Rahul Gandhi responded, telling Shah he should not “run away” from Parliament now that he is prepared to answer questions. The ceremony highlighted the coalition’s focus on patriotic symbolism and its stance on law-and-order issues. The gathering concluded without further incident.
