Modi pledges full coverage of Annapurna Yojana for Bengal's eligible women

He explained that the scheme channels a fixed sum of Rs 3,000 each month straight into recipients' bank accounts, eliminating any need for intermediaries or deductions. According to Modi, roughly 1.5 crore women have already received the fourth instalment, reflecting the government's rapid rollout.
He praised the initiative as a tool for empowering mothers and sisters, reducing financial worries and strengthening their decision-making power. The prime minister also congratulated beneficiaries and urged continued progress toward universal coverage.
