Speaking with CEOs of twenty space startups in New Delhi, he emphasized that the country’s extensive talent base and willingness to take risks position it to dominate the global market. A startup chief reported a noticeable uptick in interest from Indian expatriates in the United States and Europe, many of whom are eager to come back.

Modi urged the creation of an atmosphere that encourages these returnees to join Indian space ventures or collaborate with the national space agency. He stressed that such connections would further strengthen India’s standing in the sector.
