Modi’s “naraaz fufa” remark resurfaces as Rahul Gandhi visits Rae Bareli

On Wednesday, Rahul Gandhi reached the Rae Bareli Collectorate to preside over a DISHA meeting reviewing central schemes, when several onlookers shouted “naraaz fufa.” The phrase, used by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Vadodara to criticize dissenters, appeared directed at Gandhi as he entered the venue. Gandhi’s itinerary in his home constituency includes discussions with bullion traders, representatives of the Central Bar Association, and groups of sportspersons, doctors and chemists, followed by visits to flood-affected villages in Shivgarh and Maharajganj.
