Mother fatally stabs husband and toddler at Pennsylvania resort, then seeks help to kill herself
Metallica Rose Harrison, 27, allegedly stabbed her husband and their 3-year-old son to death at Great Wolf Lodge in the Poconos and later called 911 asking how to end her own life.
Investigators allege that 27-year-old Metallica Rose Harrison stabbed her husband, Charles Harrison, and their three-year-old son, identified only as T.H., in the chest while they were staying at Great Wolf Lodge in the Poconos. Following the killings, Harrison tried to cut her own wrists and neck and called 911, asking for advice on how to find a suitable vein to die. During the call she told operators that her family was already dead and expressed remorse.
Emergency personnel noted her repeated remarks about working hard to be the best mother and wife. Police recovered two teal-handled knives, blood-filled containers and medication bottles from Room 2030, gathering over 80 pieces of evidence. Harrison has been charged with two counts of criminal homicide and remains hospitalized pending arraignment.
