Motherson subsidiary to buy majority stake in Rotary Connectors for ₹500 crore

Samvardhana Motherson International's board gave the green light for its subsidiary, Samvardhana Motherson Adsys Tech Ltd, to buy a 50.1% equity interest in Rotary Connectors Pvt Ltd. The acquisition is structured as an all-cash transaction with an enterprise valuation of ₹500.4 crore. Completion is expected before the close of the 2026-27 financial year, after which Rotary Connectors will operate as an indirect subsidiary of the Motherson Group.

The original promoters will continue to hold 49.9% of the company. The deal aligns with Motherson's strategy to broaden its aerospace and defence portfolio, particularly in electrical wiring interconnect systems, and adds a manufacturer of military-grade circular connectors to its lineup.
