Mr. Olympia judge's Tesla Cybertruck backs into son, killing child in California

Terrick El Guindy, 48, who serves as a judge for the Mr. Olympia bodybuilding competition, accidentally backed his Tesla Cybertruck into his six-year-old son Preston outside their Temecula residence on Saturday night. The collision happened just before 9 p.m. at Brookhaven Court near Highway 79, and Preston was immediately taken to Inland Valley Medical Center in Wildomar, where he died later that evening with his mother present.

Police questioned El Guindy but did not arrest him, and a California Highway Patrol spokesperson said the truck was not operating in autopilot mode. The family announced the tragedy on social media, noting that Preston had recently started first grade, and a GoFundMe fundraiser was launched by friend Stefanie Chesbro to aid the parents and sister Scarlett. Authorities expressed condolences to the family, and it remains unclear whether any dashboard alerts warned El Guindy of his son's presence.
