MS Now launches subscription service with live Q&A access to its anchors
MS Now is introducing a paid membership that lets subscribers chat live with its reporters and hosts such as Rachel Maddow and Joe Scarborough.
The cable network MS Now, owned by Versant Media, will offer a new subscription tier available through the Apple and Google app stores and its website. Members can pose questions in real-time to on-air personalities at noon and submit queries for newsroom reporters later in the day. The rollout is part of Versant’s strategy to grow direct-to-consumer revenue as its traditional linear TV audience shrinks. Future expansion to additional platforms and devices is planned.
