Multi-vehicle crash on State Route 4 injures two, leads to arrest

Late Saturday night, a three-vehicle pile-up occurred on State Route 4 near Avenue H in Lancaster, involving a large semi-tractor and two smaller cars. The California Highway Patrol said the crash happened just before 11 p.m., and emergency personnel rushed two injured occupants to a hospital, though their conditions were not immediately disclosed. Footage captured a stretcher-bound victim being carried from the side of the road, while a damaged sedan and SUV were positioned near the front and rear of the semi, respectively.

A second semi-truck was parked beside the wreckage but showed no visible damage. CHP officials confirmed that one individual was arrested in connection with the incident, but they did not provide further information about the arrest or potential charges. The investigation remains ongoing.
