Multiple Fatal Car Crashes in Bavaria Claim Three Lives, Injure Several Teens

Bavarian police reported three deaths from a series of accidents on Friday and Saturday. Near Münchberg, an 18-year-old driver lost control, crossed into oncoming traffic, and struck a tree, killing a 17-year-old passenger and leaving the driver gravely wounded; another 17-year-old and a 16-year-old were also injured. In Mallersdorf-Pfaffenberg, a car overturned multiple times, ejecting an unbelted 17-year-old passenger, while the 21-year-old driver and a 19-year-old passenger sustained critical injuries and required rescue equipment.

Additional fatalities occurred when an 85-year-old driver collided with a parked trailer in Eckental and when a 65-year-old driver crashed into a bus in Thüngersheim, dying at the scene; a 32-year-old bus driver was also badly hurt. Authorities have launched investigations and are searching for the involved transporter's driver.
