Multiple Las Vegas Valley crashes kill three and critically injure several within eight hours
Three separate accidents in the Las Vegas Valley over an eight-hour period resulted in three fatalities and multiple critical injuries, including a motorcyclist, pedestrians and an SUV rollover near the state line.
In a span of just over eight hours on Labor Day weekend, the Las Vegas Valley experienced three serious collisions that together claimed three lives and left multiple people in critical condition. The first crash, at 7:53 p.m., involved a 2024 Tesla Model 3 that turned left at Redwood Street and East Hacienda Avenue, colliding with a 2025 Honda Rebel 300; the 21-year-old rider was ejected and later died at University Medical Center.
A second incident, two minutes later, occurred on East Craig Road at Puebla Street, where a 34-year-old adult carrying a 3-year-old child stepped into the path of a 2022 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport, critically injuring both pedestrians. The third accident happened at 4:06 a.m. on State Route 163, about seven miles from the California-Nevada border, when an SUV rolled over, killing two adult males on site and sending a third to the hospital in critical condition. Authorities from the Metropolitan Police Department and Nevada Highway Patrol reported no signs of impairment from the drivers who remained at the scenes.
