The updated framework will expand protection for those who disclose confidential company data and introduce monetary rewards.
MyCC also urged businesses and individuals to submit tips via multiple channels, including a WhatsApp app. The reforms will broaden MyCC's authority to study markets affecting consumers, such as digital and e-commerce sectors, and facilitate cooperation with foreign competition agencies.
