Naftali Bennett calls for a coordinated campaign against Qatar

Naftali Bennett, who previously served as Israel's prime minister, reiterated his view that Qatar is an adversary and advocated for a multi-pronged campaign against it. He clarified that the plan does not require bombing but involves intelligence gathering, shaping public opinion, and applying economic and diplomatic levers. Bennett called for cooperation with regional allies—including Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and Egypt—to increase pressure on Qatar.

He criticized Qatar for allegedly funding the Oct. 7 attackers and for operating Al one outlet, which he described as a harmful influence. Bennett also claimed the small nation exerts sway over American universities and even reaches Israel's prime-ministerial office, arguing that Israel should formally label Qatar an enemy.
