Nancy Kissinger, longtime diplomatic companion, dies at 92

Nancy Kissinger, the wife of former Secretary of State Henry Kissinger, passed away at age 92, according to her family.

The family announced the death of Nancy Kissinger, who was born Nancy Sharon Maginnes in Manhattan in 1934. Although she never held an official diplomatic post, she often traveled with her husband on missions to Russia, the Middle East and other regions, appearing in photographs with world leaders. The couple, childless, were regulars at state dinners and White House events during Republican administrations. She is survived by two stepchildren and five step-grandchildren. Henry Kissinger died in November 2023 at age 100.
