Nature's Own launches 'Sandwishes' cookbook featuring recipes created by Make-A-Wish kids

Nature's Own introduced a digital cookbook called "Sandwishes" that showcases sandwich ideas submitted by children with critical illnesses through its partnership with Make-Wish America.

Nature's Own rolled out a new "Sandwishes" initiative, a digital cookbook that features sandwich creations submitted by Make-Wish children battling serious health conditions. Recipes like Olivia's Bright Harvest Bacon Bite, Luke's Mediterranean Magic Melt, and Nash's Swiss Thunder Herowich were highlighted, each paired with the brand's Honey Wheat bread. Krystle Farlow, senior director of brand management, explained the campaign aims to bring the kids' imaginations to life for families to enjoy.

Leslie Motter, president and CEO of Make-Wish America, noted the partnership expands the foundation's reach and offers a joyful way for families to engage with the wishes. The effort builds on a prior $500,000 sponsorship that began in 2025 and includes in-store displays and a virtual "Well Wish Wall." WWE star John Cena, a major wish granter, also supported the launch as a "Breaducator." The cookbook is accessible online at naturesownbread.com/wish.

Why it matters

The campaign blends corporate branding with charitable outreach, giving visibility to children with critical illnesses and encouraging family participation.
