Nearly 900,000 Vehicles Recalled Over Fuel Leak and Safety Faults

U.S. regulators have warned that almost 900,000 vehicles from Ford, Hyundai and Chrysler are being recalled because of defects that could lead to serious accidents or injuries. Ford’s recall covers 223,472 model-year 2023-2027 F-150 trucks whose fuel-tank straps may fail, potentially causing leaks, stalls or fires; owners will receive notification letters and dealers will replace the straps. Chrysler’s three recalls affect roughly 665,000 vehicles, including 239,000 2025-2026 Ram 1500 pickups with a rear-camera software glitch, several Jeep Grand Cherokee and Grand Cherokee L models with rear coil-spring isolators that could detach, and about 97,000 Jeep Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer models with improperly tightened roof-rack cross-bar bolts.

Hyundai’s recall involves more than 5,300 2026 Ioniq 9 cars equipped with second-row power seats that may continue moving after contacting a passenger, posing a trapping risk, especially for children. All repairs will be performed free of charge by authorized dealers.
